Olenka Coughlan is a Principal Data Analyst at the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health, where she has focused her career on program evaluation, analytics, research, and data visualization. With robust experience across various data systems, she has analyzed a wide range of datasets, including those related to mental health, immunization, newborns, healthcare claims for health economics and outcomes research, and workforce development.
Prior to her current role, Olenka worked as a Data Analyst for the CDC Foundation, where she supported Public Health AmeriCorps and the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (ND HHS). In this capacity, she contributed to the development of Public Health AmeriCorps’ data infrastructure. At ND HHS, she created and managed multiple immunization dashboards and conducted research and quality assessments of the immunization registry.
Olenka has also served as Co-Chair of the American Immunization Registry Association’s Power BI User Group, sharing her insights at national conferences and underscoring her commitment to advancing public health data practices.
