Ava Schneider, MSW, LSW (she/her), is a research associate with a master’s degree in Social Work and currently lives in Chicago, IL. She has experience working as a clinical therapist, a health care researcher, and in a variety of roles focused on elevating youth voice and supporting research and practice in community mental health settings.
She is passionate about data and knowledge translation and making research findings accessible to everyone. Her work largely focuses on the experiences of youth and young adults in the mental health field and beyond. Her other research interests include the intersection of physical and mental health, maternal and infant health, early childhood education, and women’s issues.
In her free time, Ava enjoys baking, dancing, traveling, and finding the best restaurants wherever she goes.
