Consumer-Operated Service Providers (COSPs): A Study of COSP Member Outcomes in Collaborative Research

In Fiscal Year 2024, Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) contracted with the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health (TIEMH) to continue examining the benefits of Consumer Operated Service Provider (COSP) services to their members, as well as to identify areas for improvement. This study builds upon the research conducted by TIEMH researchers in FY2023, which focused on peer-involved and collaborative community-based participatory research (Singh et al., 2023; Viswanathan et al., 2004; Jagosh et. al., 2012) with COSP Executive Directors (EDs).
