Consumer-Operated Service Providers (COSPs) are run and governed by peers, typically providing peer support and other non-clinical services, assistance with accessing resources, drop-in opportunities for socialization, and opportunities to participate in local and state advocacy efforts for individuals recovering from mental health challenges.
